TPC makes every reasonable effort to ensure the protection and security of data that is produced, saved, transferred or received in an electronic form.

Please note that this Privacy Policy relates to your use of this application, located at tpcpolicy.com ("TPC Policy Companion") which includes your profile, properties and claims management. This Privacy Policy does not identify the policies of third-party web pages or third-party services that you may separately access through our website or application (for example, third-party integrations). Please consult the policies of those companies or sources, when applicable, to determine how they treat your private information.

We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will take commercially reasonable efforts to notify registered users of changes to the TPC Policy Companion when we have modified the Privacy Policy so that you can review those updates.

2. The Information We Collect and How We Use It

This notice applies to all information that may be collected or submitted on our website or application as part of your use of the TPC Policy Companion.

2.1 - Who Sees My Information

All information collected or submitted on our website or application as part of your use of the TPC Policy Companion can be seen and reviewed by our administrators and technical staff at all times, in order to maintain and ensure the safety, security and operational efficiency of the website or application.

Other than administrators and technical staff, the Profile Information, Property Information and Claim Information provided by you can only be seen on a case-by-case basis under the following conditions:

  • When adding a claim to your property, you must "opt-in" to share your claim. This unlocks your claim, property and insensitive profile information to be assigned to a public adjuster.
  • When a claim is assigned to a public adjuster, the claim, property and insensitive profile information can only be viewed by that specific public adjuster, administrators and technical staff.
2.2 - Information Collected
A - Profile Information

When you register or login as a user on our website or application, you may be required to provide us the following information as part your "account profile":

  • Name
  • E-Mail Address
  • Phone Number
  • * Social Media Profile
  • User Name
  • Password
  • Confirmation Password

* This information is primarily used to verify and associate a social media account to a local account within our database for the purposes of registering or signing in. When a user opts to use a social media account to register or sign in, the following fields are received from the social media account and saved to their local account within our database:

  • Name
  • E-Mail Address
  • Phone Number
How We Use "Profile Information"

This information will be utilized in the following ways:

  • Sending notifications regarding:
    • Website or Application Updates
    • Profile Security Alerts
    • Property Updates
    • Claim Updates
  • Direct contact from a public adjuster and affiliated third parties assisting with your insurance claim
  • Promotional, marketing communications regarding new services or features provided by the TPC Policy Companion website or application, The People's Choice Public Adjuster and affiliated third parties

B - User Home ("Property") Information

When adding a property to your account, you may be required to provide us the following information as part of your "property":

  • Property Demographics
  • Property Features
  • Property Photos and Documents
  • *Insurance Policy Information
  • *Mortgage Information

* This information is recorded as part of your property information and is ONLY used when assistance is provided by a public adjuster in handling your insurance claim.

How We Use "Property Information"

This information will ONLY be utilized when a public adjuster and their affiliated third parties are assisting with your insurance claim.


C - Insurance Claim ("Claim") Information

When adding a claim to your property, you may be required to provide us the following information as part of your "claim":

  • Assessment of Property damage
  • Photos of Property Damage
  • Supporting Documents and Photos of the Claim Process
How We Use "Claim Information"

This information will ONLY be utilized when a public adjuster and their affiliated third parties are assisting with your insurance claim.


3. Application or Website Use and Aggregate Data Use

When you use the TPC Policy Companion, you give The People's Choice Public Adjuster consent to collect and use information about the time, date, geographic location and frequency of use to generate aggregate data. We use the aggregate data generated for internal research, product and service development and our own marketing and quality control. Additionally, we may share or sell the non-personal, non-identifying, aggregate data that we collect with outside third parties. We will not provide any personally identifiable information within this aggregate data to any third parties.

4. Information You Provide

Primarily, we use the information you provide about yourself when registering to complete the registration, to track the number of and types of users of the website or application, to target messaging to you, or to facilitate the internal messaging services between users and their assigned public adjusters and their third parties using the TPC Policy Companion.

We comply with all relevant state and federal laws and regulations and use commercially reasonable means to protect the personally identifiable information provided to us during the registration process and use of the website or application. We will not share, sell, or disseminate personal data to others except when you allow as described in this Privacy Policy, when compelled by law to do so, when necessary to enforce the Terms of Use or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our employees, agents, representatives and affiliates, our users, or others. For example, we may disclose the information we collect about you, including personally identifiable information to law enforcement or other government agencies if we receive a summons, search warrant, subpoena, or other court order and the information is needed to protect other persons from injury, serious harm or death, to prevent fraud or to assist in the investigation of a crime or threat of a serious crime or suspected terrorist activity.

We use return email addresses and phone numbers and your name to answer the email, phone calls and text messages we receive. As part of your registration to use the TPC Policy Companion, you have also authorized us to communicate with you concerning updates, upgrades, bug fixes and/or enhancements to our website or application, changes to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions or violations we identify or concerns we have related to your use of the TPC Policy Companion. We may also use your email address and phone number to send you additional marketing and promotional information about us, our products, our services and the products and services of affiliated third parties.

You may opt-out of receiving marketing communications at any time by contacting us and requesting to be removed from our marketing list. You may not opt-out of non-marketing, service-related notifications, as they are not promotional in nature and serve as vital updates on your previously-provided information and use of our website or application. Your e-mail address is not used for any other purpose and is not shared with outside parties unless you have opted to share that information for the purposes of providing services and/or assistance.

We may use and disclose non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with potential users, researchers, sponsors and investors. For example, we may tell a researcher that X number of users work in a particular specialty or in a particular geographic area, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify any individual. In the event TPC or its products such as the TPC Policy Companion are sold, the information collected from users may be transferred to new owners.

Finally, we do not use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us in ways unrelated to those described above without providing you an opportunity to opt-out.

5. Our Commitment To Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure any information we may collect online. Despite reasonable technological measures taken by us, technology can be bypassed and we cannot guarantee privacy of your information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the privacy of your password and protecting the security of your computer, laptop, tablet or other device used to access the TPC Policy Companion website or the TPC Policy Companion platform. You agree that we shall not be responsible for any loss, damages or liability arising from the information you provide to us in any way and you shall have no recourse against us or any agent, representative, employee, officer, shareholder or director for such loss, damage, or liability.

6. Our Commitment To Children's Privacy

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we do not collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13 years of age. You may not register to use the TPC Policy Companion platform if you are under 18 years of age.

7. How You Can Access, Correct or Remove Your Information

We use your e-mail address and your name to facilitate verifying your login, responding to your email requests, facilitating the transmission of messages between you and other users, and to provide information to you regarding updates, upgrades, bug fixes and/or enhancements, or other additional information about us as noted previously. If your name, e-mail address or other user information changes, and you would like to continue receiving that information, you may update your account information within your profile or contact us at support@tpc.insure

To protect your privacy and security, and to avoid misappropriation of the TPC Policy Companion, we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before permitting or implementing changes to information you provide. If you no longer want us to collect, store or use your information, you must discontinue your use of the TPC Policy Companion, and contacting us at support@tpc.insure to facilitate the removal of your account and information from our internal databases. We will use commercially reasonable means of removing your information within a reasonable time of receiving your request so long as you have verified ownership of your account.
